Actually that's a bad thing

It knocks us out of the 6 seed.

Now we'll be either a 7 playing A&M, or an 8 playing Tennessee (depending on the Ole Miss-USC winner). A win there will put us up against either Florida or Kentucky. As a 6, we would have played the Auburn/Mizzou winner on no rest, then played South Carolina for a berth in the Semi's.
