There was a time when I was so passionate in my devotion to the Dawgs that I would do illogical things...such as walking out of Sanford Stadium in the fourth quarther if it was a tight game. I couldn't bear the thought of watching them lose. Many times during a televised away game I would turn the TV off in the fourth quarter under the same circumstances. I finally concluded that life is too short and the Dawgs don't deserve that much of my energy. Hence, last year for example, I think I watched a total of 15 minutes of a Georgia game while eating lunch at a Donnie's Fine Cooking [a staple here in Atlanta]. I have to hope that Kirby will bring good things going forward. But I find bigshot's post right on target. But, who cares what I think. I make my contributions to UGA to the academic side where there has been measurable success.
