1. This year's team was very young and showed some promise going forward. It would probably not be an ideal time to tear up everything and restart with an unknown.

2. Five years is probably on the generous side to not get much in the way of results. But UGA baseball has never been a turn key operation, and was in a terrible spot when he took over. I liked David Perno, and God bless him for the great years he DID have, but the program was a shambles when Stricklin arrived.
