That was a bad example of why I'm wary of "good games"


A close win that gives me a heart attack could be, to the outside observer, a good game.

But I hate them.

I think it's from being out west and seeing USC in the early to mid 2000s just stomp almost everyone they played. During the Bush/Leinart years it seemed they would crush almost everyone on their schedule and I was so jealous. They would have one "good game," as in a close win, say, the Bush push game against ND. I could live with that. Kill 11 teams and eke one out against a rival in exciting fashion.

I think I'm backpedaling and romanticizing the Trojan's early to mid-2000s run at the same time. LOL!
