Richt's poor roster management was his biggest weakness, & it's still shocking to analyze the tremendous amount of unused scholarships we had, especially during the last 5-6 years he was here.

Kirby is a relentless recruiter, not only for the future but also for the present. We apparently have somebody who's not making it in for this class.

So a scholarship opens up. Instead of just sitting back and doing nothing, our coach is out there beating the bushes and finds a good player who can actually help us immediately.
