We ran 43 times and threw 30 times. A pretty good balance for a team that wants to set up the offense with the run but make the other team defend the pass.

Of those 43 runs, 3 were kneel downs and don't count. Of the other 40, almost half, 19, were 2 yards or less and 13 were 1 yard or less. That's pretty crappy.

Passing was much the same. Of the 30 passes, 13 were incomplete and 1 was intercepted. About what you'd expect from a talented freshman.

The point is, that basically half of our plays were not executed. That makes it pretty impossible to establish a rhythm or any offensive identity.
