Kirby obviously puts an incredible premium on recruiting and knows there is more to the business of college football than the “here and now”.

Now, he will be the first to tell his players that “the here and now” is the only thing to be concerned with but it’s not that cut and dry for a college football coach. He has to think these things out way into the future to ensure he’s set up to win.

The bottom line is, there is way more upside to starting Eason when he’s 100% healthy.
