Very similar teams on paper, categorical rankings, etc. The one
stat that stands out a little is run defense, where, statistically at least, we're better. I watched a couple of their games this season (not v TAMU though). Their QB didn't impress me in either. Nothing wrong with the guy but certainly not the savior, next Heisman candidate type QB he was touted to be pre season. They pretty much look like the last few Auburn teams - good but nothing particularly great. I think this one has a little more depth and steadier if unspectacular QB play. I don't see anything that would warrant either our OC or DC doing anything much differently in terms of game planning, play calling or scheming than we've done in most of our games. We should have reasonable success running the ball but will probably have to pass about 20-25 times. While AU is better than SCU, I expect a very similar game plan.
