Sort of. Outside the playoff, the bowls have little meaning other

Than a final ranking, which does influence the next year's rankings and recruiting. Personally I liked the post season much more before the bcs and now playoffs. More bowl games actually meant more. Yeah, the champion was by vote but it still is really. So now the non playoff bowls are just about enjoying the matchups. Never saw a uga v michigan or usc game so I'd like to do so.
