We did get beat on both lines the first game but I think the defenses issues were much more falling for all of Auburns eye candy and getting out of position. It looks like Auburn has several run options on their RPOs and their QB did a nice job of almost always selecting the right one based on how our D reacted.

I saw a couple of plays where our contain guy on the weak side got almost to mid field only to have the play come back to his side and be completely out of position. We can't have this again. Their offense is good enough without us helping. Trust your teammates to do their job and do yours and only yours

Don't get me started on the stupid penalties that extended drives

Also we need to hit that left shoulder of Johnson hard and often. Nothing dirty about it, that's football if you are going to play hurt, expect the opposition to try and cleanly take you out.

On offense we did get overwhelmed on the oline especially in obvious passing downs. But I keep thinking about the flea flicker where Jake did not step back far enough and got sacked (if he did that is an easy TD). And the dropped pass that hit our WRs hands that was another TD. That's 40-31 if we make those two plays that were 100% there. We have made a personnel change since then on the oline, hopefully that helps. At some point we do need to run right at them but early we need to try and take their dline out of the game with quick hitters, jet sweeps, and screens to slow their a$$es down some
