...75 years (to the day) from our first. Days like yesterday and this coming New Year's are what we hoped for when CKS was hired. I certainly gave to say that I did not think I would see them so quickly. Playing a program like Oklahoma - for the first time in the two schools' history - in the oldest bowl game of all is a true sign of how far our guys have come in just two years. It is also a FAR worthier recognition & reward for their efforts than a Peach Bowl vs UCF, or the Sugar Bowl against Hawaii 10 years ago for that matter. I agree with everyone that Mayfield and the Sooner O will be quite a task. But I am assuredly ready to see our team make their best effort on one of CFB's grandest stages.
