Do we assume/presume OU plays in an Offense-based conference? If so, .....


....trouble looms.

If we postulate the Big 12 as a good offense/no defense, OU is right up there with their offense. But here's the thing: While OU averaged close to 600 yards in total offense, their defense against these Big 12 offenses yielded around 385 yards per game. If one assumes/presumes Big 12 offenses are wideass open, then OU's defense against these offenses means that, in my opinion, they're pretty damn good. If they can stop Big 12 offenses, they can stop ours.
