When multiple news outlets pick up the story you created and decide to give you credit for it, that's hardly pathetic.

And more than anything else, it shows that the bowl committee, or the NCAA, or whoever is supposed to be in charge of these things, has totally failed to check whether or not these bowl teams are actually bowl eligible. Since multiple other teams lost out on a bowl and whatever revenue they would have received, I'd say its definitely a story worth telling.
