I'm definitely on the bandwagon that Eason will transfer.

The new redshirt rules allow him to play the mop up duty and still have a redshirt.

Given how much he has played, I'm guessing Kirby let's him play next year as long as its not in the SEC.

For the question: Since its a new calendar year, can Eason now play at a contributing level and not put his redshirt in danger? If he can play contribution football, does Kirby keep him off the field in a "decision has been made and the team moved on" type of way.

Even if it were only for one play, I would line him up in the slot and run some type of half back pass play about 3 plays before half so OK spends halftime making adjustments for Eason.
