So, an 8-3 ACC champion gets in over another conferences


10-1 runner-up? That would be a huge farce and destroy the championship series.

If it is determined that more teams should be included in the playoffs, it should be based on the same criteria as the current system. Not conference championship games in which a weak team can surprise a rival but be suck the rest of the season.
