I love Basketball too. My Dad played hoops at a major D1 school so I grew up a Basketball fan. I was just never that good at it so I slowly became a football fan. But for me College Hoops is still a close 2nd to Football.

Sure, not many alums are bigger Hoops fans than Football. But that being said, there is a big enough alumni base that if UGA were to ever put a consistent winner on the court, people would follow and support the program in a big way. Having another winner to pull for would draw in a lot of folks when there's no football to watch. I hear people say "it will never happen" but I disagree. When Tubby was here, the Steg was packed and it rocked. Same with Harrick until he screwed the pooch. I was in school the year we went to the Final Four, and that place was nuts. Win and they'll come.
