You're right, Mizzou wasn't awful on paper, but looking inside the numbers, we were the first RPI 50 team they beat (they get credit for beating S.Carolina, since USC slipped into the top 50 after upsetting UK last night).
But regardless of all that, we're still gonna need 19 wins at least, maybe 20, to make the tourney. With 13 games plus the SEC-T left, we need to catch fire. That UMass game was an absolute killer. Had we been even semi-conscious for that one, and had taken care of business vs either Mizzou or USC (not even both, but just one), we'd be firmly inside the bubble right now. And 2 of the next 4 looks like a tall order at this point. I'd love to see it, though.
