66 yr old who hasn't really killed it the last 10 years

He did well at Minnesota. He did OK at Texas Tech, and a few of his players are killing it for them now. He is doing OK at Memphis. But certainly not doing great. He's never been a great recruiter, even at Kentucky.

I don't see him at all as a better option than a healthy Matta, Crean, or Prohm. I think all 3 of them would take UGA
