15-20 years ago this was a fantastic site. Lots of good discussion and analysis, much humor, and general good feeling among the regular denizens. But over the years more and more negative nellies moved in and started to poison the place. Good long-term posters got a bellyful and started to leave. And they were replaced by ever more of the kinds of folks I describe by saying, "Some people are not happy unless they're not happy." You know the type. One of the all-time worst of those folks is still around. Seems like he's mostly talking to himself these days, though. I certainly never answer him.

Back when the site was still good, on a game day you'd see 3 or 4 pages of posts. Now the first page covers all the way back to two weeks before the season. The place is like a graveyard. The moderators used to be active participants, and great posters. Now even they don't seem to want to be here. When's the last time the Dawgfather or SSDawg posted anything?

It's a shame.
