This used to be a great board with lots of activity and discussion. That seems to be the typical life span of many online sites: starts out great, gets popular and thrives for a while, gets overrun by knuckleheads, dies. I think there are some pay sites that have a lot of active discussion, but I wouldn't know for sure because I don't subscribe to any pay sites (I've done a couple short-term trials, and was less than impressed).

Yes, it is a shame.
