Fox has to learn how to recruit the state


Fox is, and always has been, a great X's & O's coach and a very good game planner. He just has not been able to bring the talent to UGA. Our Sr guards, while experienced, were 3 star players. So was JJ. So was Maten. So were Edwards, Turtle, Wilridge, and Iduwe. Geno wasn't even 3 stars. Neither was Kessler. Our talent level was the 2nd worst in the league.

Ogbeide was a 4 star guy, and we got 2 more coming in, so with them and a Sr JJ and a Jr Maten, I'm hoping we'll show big improvement next year. But Fox has got to get the 4 - and the occasional 5 - star guys from Georgia. If he does that, his program will do what Florida did in the 90s (ie: go from zero tradition, to a consistent winner).
