Question concerning Division 1-A (FBS) & Division 1-AA (FCS...

My Alma Mater is currently about to start it's transition from FCS to FBS.
Some of my fellow alums are against the move up, and I counter this with the "no one follows 1-AA Football unless they have to" point of view.
Question: Do you Dawgs keep-up with what happens at the 1-AA level and do you think I am correct in my statement?
