I don't think you could articulate my opinion on race...
Because we've never talked about it, just like I can't say what your opinion is.
I do know that Democrats support affirmative action, which is a program that by definition discriminates against one group in order to lift up another group. And I know that racial and gender "diversity" is extremely important to Democrats, as group rights are part of their platform.
I do know that Donald Trump plays to fear of "the other" in his speeches, and is trying to lock up the fear vote where it exists. There is a segment of the Republican primary that is receptive to that message, including some that I'm sure don't like blacks, muslims, Mexicans, whatever.
And I don't think that Boehner, McConnell, Ryan, et al, are racists. I think the race of Obama is beside the fact to them. They just don't agree with his positions and don't want to help him implement an agenda that they don't agree with. It's that simple.
