Richt isn't going to be "old news" in UGA circles for years.

The 1st former HC in anybody's lifetime to actually coach somewhere else? A guy many consider our best coach ever, or at least #2? A guy who was here for 15 years? A guy who was a lightning rod discussion topic here especially the last few years?

Are you kidding? CMR's exploits will be news of interest for Dawg fans for a while, whether they're for him or against him or just want to follow his career. People will discuss him on message boards, call in shows, media articles, tailgating talk...

Totally unrealistic to expect people to just suddenly ignore a UGA coaching icon still practicing his trade at another school.
