Don't confuse them with the facts, their minds were already made up

I wouldn't say this is the most objective forum Red...

This was an abysmal year by any measure. I'm not even sure I'm as charitable as you are regarding Ole Miss being more talented. We ranked well ahead of them every year in recruiting but in any case we lost either 4 or 5 games to teams WITH LESSER TALENT. Who is responsible for that, please don't say it's the former regime?!

The predominant narratives are total BS meant to people feel good about their decisions (running CMR off -- questionable; hiring CKS without interviewing anyone else -- HIGHLY questionable). The coaches' jobs are to fix the problem in the long run (recruiting) BUT ALSO in the short run (better coaching, different schemes, other plays, etc.) not throw their arms in the air -- we need this, we need that.

I'm not sure about you but I have people that I manage for a living and I have some that are really good working with technical engineers and some that are good in front of clients, etc. and I know who to put where and how to get the most of what they do have to offer and in the end, I AM RESPONSIBLE.

Against GT however the OL sure looked like it was doing its job so why put the game in the hands of a FR QB and an underperforming WR who TIPPED the ball up (a la the Prayer at JH)??? Call me crazy but worse case I like my chances against a triple option team that has to drive 80+ yards with 3 minutes left. I'm also not sure even with them stacking the box that we couldn't get the first given the way the OL was playing and Michel was running.

I won't even mention that CKS has enjoyed more support than ANY coach at UGA from the IPF which will be finished on his watch to the coaches' eye-popping salaries (and multi-year contracts ahem Cheney) to the exploding number of support and analyst positions to the GA Legislature allowing him to hide from, or at least delay, legitimate FOIA requests. We have gone all in to say the least and the results frankly speak for themselves.
