Not surprised. This team is just not as talented as some believe.


The unmitigated disaster that was the 2013 recruiting class ("But it was Top 10, it must be good!") has been well covered on every UGA forum. That's our upperclass "leadership"... Few bodies, little talent, no leadership.

Throw in the absolute least talent at OT in the SEC (poor Pyke, could have made it at guard), one of the worst WR corps in the league, a DB group Kirby warned us about in camp, and a DL that had to rely on too many underclassmen including FR...

This team is just not that talented. Yes, they were poorly coached against some teams they did have more talent than. But this team is just not as talented as some believe. They're just not. The next 2 NFL drafts will further the point.
