Until you see it's the #6 or 7 class in the SEC. There is also a big difference between the top 3 classes in the SEC and the next 5 or 6, which are pretty interchangeable. Just as there is a difference between a 4* kid that is ranked #4 at his position and a 4* kid that is ranked #24 at his position. No, rankings are not perfect, but they have gotten much more accurate in recent years with that many more services doing that many more evaluations and there is an absolute correlation between recruiting rankings and on field production. Richt let it slip, period. The good news is that we are not a 5-yr rebuilding project (with OL being the most long term fix at 3). The better news is that Kirby and his staff are relentlessly good recruiters and have shown a willingness to go after kids wherever they are instead of waiting for those that will naturally come to us. UGA recruits itself to a certain degree (6th or 7th in the SEC). It takes work beyond that.
