After Yante set the screen, JJ should have popped it back to him in the lane. If so, Maten probably draws the foul around the 3 second mark - either scores and one, or two shots. In JJ's defense, the only thing I can think is that he figured he could get an A&M defender in the air and draw a 3-shot foul. He's hitting 90%, and would need to hit only 1 out of 3 for OT, or 2 of 3 for the win. But getting it to Maten in the lane is money.
But you got to give it to UGA basketball. They are constantly inventing new ways to disappoint.
