Ok so who's the big name? And why does that make a difference?


A good coach is a good coach. Kentucky did shit when they hired a big name coach from the Big 12. Florida did great when they hired a nobody from Marshall. And look to be doing good when they hired a nobody from Louisiana Tech. Or how did Baylor do when they were in more need than UGA of an overhaul. Quite possibly in the worst situation in NCAA basketball history. And they went and hired a no name from Valporaiso. How'd that one turn out. Worked out at Tennessee when they hired some nobody from Milwaukee. Or USC when they got some nobody from Florida Gulf Coast. Did not work out too wel for Indiana when they hired a name brand from Oklahoma.

There's no reason why a guy like Mark Gottfried would come into UGA and do a better job than a Archie Miller or a Ben Jacobson
