Either couldn't get separation and or dropped the ball, oftentimes ineffective running game that put us behind the sticks a lot and the normal learning curve. Eason had a ridiculous percentage of attempts on third and long. I don't care who your QB is, they're not going to do well when most of their throws are on third and long and the defense knows you are throwing. Now Eason absolutely must do a better job of seeing the field and finding the (somewhat) open receiver, he has to do better on pre snap reads and he has to improve his accuracy on long balls. I expect all of the above to improve this year and for Eason to be one of the best QB's in the SEC.
