Get the Orville Reddenbocker...point by point rebuttal

I know you don't like Kirby. I know you were radically against Richt being let go. But you are biased.
>> Are you claiming to be completely unbiased in the coaching decision? Were you ambivalent between keeping CMR?

Missouri is more talented than any of Miami's wins, hands down no questions asked. And it was a road game. At night. You give Miami quick credit for improvement but can't see that mizzou is also improved with their new coach, despite losing his very 1st game, on the road.
>> Yes they are more talented (Sagarin has Mizzou at #55 but App St. is a respectable #76) but we won by 1 point, App St was destroyed by the U

Further, despite Miami's struggles last year, they still simply out talent all 3 teams they played. Far and away. (With respect to the grittiness of App St.) Miami has out-talented all 3 opponents clearly. UGA has not out-talented 2 of its 3 to anything CLOSE to the extent Miami has.
>> WTH? Even accounting for busts, UGA has recruited far, far, far, far better than UNC or Mizzou and what about Nicholls? Coaching counts.

You also have to consider 15 yrs of HC experience vs 0.
>> Well that's an opinion. At $4M I don't want anyone learning on the job and that's why frankly I think ADGM made a huge mistake going all in on CKS. Tom Herman is going to make or make likely regain some school powerhouse status starting next year. WHY DID UGA NOT TALK TO HIM???

Kirby has CLEAR issues with lack of talent on the OL & WR groups left him by Richt. Those will take a while to overcome, and thankfully he's doing a better job so far in correcting those problems. This will be a better OL class than CMR ever signed, and we'll bring in 4-5 WRs 6-2 or taller, also a must have. Check Sentell's AJC column for a good rundown of the deficiencies of Richts recruiting that we're dealing with.
>> Lack of talent versus Nicholls even UNC or Mizzou? We haven't played Bama.

Given schedule & roster problems, it's likely Richt wins more games this year. I'm pulling for him.
>> UGA has the easiest schedule it has had, maybe in forever. The SECE is the absolute worst it has ever been (see App St hanging with UT) and we pull an OK Ole Miss and a pathetic Auburn from the West and GT is coming off a 3-9 season.

But Kirby has pulled out 2 games so far better than CMR, as a rookie under huge pressure, keeping cool at the end & managing time & personnel to great effect.
>> Thank God for Mackenzie (from CMR's south FL connections), Eason (personal CMR recruit to whom he was a father figure), not to mention Payne (CKS by his own admission doesn't like FBs).
