I don't come here much because all of the regulars, primarily those with an objective opinion are gone. Most of the folks that are left were die-hard anti-CMR folks from way back. Check the roster. This place has mostly dried up like a factory town that lost its factory. Check the summer posts, crickets.

In any case, the facts paint a different story and you don't like it, I get that.

As for CKS's recruiting I was here for that and I said then that CKS closed with a whimper. All of the best recruits were pretty much already on board. Most of the big fish that decided late got away including Demetris Robertson. I wouldn't call it a raging success. Without your revisionist history most folks feel he "held serve" -- he didn't blow it but he didn't make it rain either, case in point is Eason.

As I said, I at least admit that I wanted to keep CMR, you are at least as biased, kettle.

And yes I don't want football to sully my degree. I'm proud of the progress UGA has made from the sign your name jokes. It was thoroughly embarrassing to be the national punchline with Harrick's "how much does a 3 pt. shot count for?" debacle.

Frankly it's absurd and again nationally embarrassing that UGA got the GA General Assembly to pass a law making a joke out of the Freedom of Information Act to protect UGA Athletics. That's the Saban and apparently Smart way. It shouldn't have to be an either or between academic respect and athletic success.

Finally I have rarely started a subject but yeah if someone wants to compare CMR and CKS, I'm going to voice my opinion that at this very early stage it's not even close.
