Like Athens said, we don't have elite talent like UK, Duke, Kansas, etc, but we have more than enough talent to finish in the top 3-4 in the SEC and go dancing.

Ogbeide, Harris and Crump were all consensus 4-star recruits and Maten has proven that he should have been. JJ is a senior, and Parker is a 4th year Jr. That's plenty of talent and experience to build a team around. You rag on Parker above, but you're always praising Edwards for his rebounding. Well, Parker has about the same rebounds per minute as Edwards (from the 3 vs Edwards at the 4), plus all of his other stats per minute are way better. Wilridge, Jackson, Crump and Diatta are all adequate reserves (agreed Kessler has no business playing and Geno shouldn't average over 5 min per game).

Before yesterday, most projections had us in the first four out. So now with the loss to A&M, we're gonna have to pull at least two significant upsets (or win the SEC-T), while still holding serve in all our other games to make the tourney. That seems pretty unlikely.

I've been a big Fox supporter up until now, but this year it was reasonable to expect the team to make a noticeable improvement. That obviously hasn't happened, and we continue to lose to teams like Oakland (who just lost back-to-back home games to Detroit Mercy (4-15) and Cleveland State (6-14)) Marquette and A&M. It's pretty apparent that we've peaked under Fox.
