You still need a bench. Yea Edwards can be playing a few mins less and Ogbeide a few mins more. I don't get why Ogbeide is taken out at the 18 min mark every game either. But that is just the post. Edwards is still capable of getting 12 or so mins. So that is not really the depth issue. Ogbeide/Edwards is not really it. That is a small part yea. But if Edwards playing 18 mins and Ogbeide 21 instead of 27 min vs 12... UGA would be fine. Yes Kessler and KPG should be getting nothing. But who is coming in for JJ and Parker and Harris? We can say Crump needs more mins, but we have no idea cause we've never seen him play enough. It is possible that he just is not ready. Turtle is very eh. He's been a disappointment this year.

And to be fair.. JJ, Parker, and Ogbeide should not be getting 35 mins/game. They're not good enough for that. Harris will be one day. And Maten is. You need quality players on the bench to win in basketball. You do. Georgia does not have quality on their bench. What was the disparity in that UF game? 50-5? Something like that... That game saw Parker play 40 mins. JJ played 40 mins. Harris played 35 mins. Ogbeide played 28 mins. But you have your star player foul out with a decent lead with little time left and they didn't have quality depth to come in and hold the fort. The starters, including Parker, are all fine. They have no bench. And it is possible that it's on Fox that he's not giving Wilridge or Crump enough mins. Very possible. Either way, their bench sucks.
