He played in the Sugar. In fact, he got beat for the only TD

in the game. Arkansas knew he liked to gamble and liked to come up quick on run support. They ran a play where Jake had a responsibility for the middle of the field and did a stop and go type pattern.

Arkansas had Hootie Ingram, who had been an assistant at Georgia the previous three years. He knew Georgia's tendencies pretty good.

Tough loss for Georgia. We turned it over nine times, including a play where "Bad" Brad Johnson got hit on the goal line and the ball popped high in the air. No one could control it and it rolled out of the back of the end zone for a touchback.

Still one of my favorite teams. I was a kid and loved the players, especially the defense.

Bill Stanfill, Billy Payne, Steve Greer David McKnight, Happy Dicks, and Spike Jones.

Mike Cavan, Brad Johnson, Bruce Kemp, Kent Lawrence, David Rholetter, Tommy Lyons, Charles Whittemore, Jim McCullough. to name a few.
