If Eason was struggling more, or if Lambert had shown enough improvement to keep the starting spot, that might be a good option. Or maybe if we had a really mobile pocket QB.

But if we're ready to have Eason as our #1 QB, we've got to have our best pass protectors in there. He's got enough to worry about: learning to read defenses, sharpening his accuracy, learning the entire offense.

Most of your thoughts on the OL, WRs, & K have been similarly expressed by many here the last 24 hrs. I want to give the young WRs a chance too, but it looks like they are a pretty average group right now. We are telling our current big-time WR recruiting targets that multiple WRs could come in next year & get major PT.

After IM & TG, every other spot is vulnerable to 2017 recruits in the WR corps. It's no lie to recruits either, they can see the evidence for themselves. Hopefully someone will step up and prove himself soon.
