I agree with much that you say about conflict of interest. I do disagree on protectionism. If anything, the rest of the world has had protectionist trade agreements against us, or at best have cheated on their agreements.
I maintain Hillary would have been more corrupt than Trump. The Clintons have found ways to cheat the system all there lives. If money didn't flow through the foundation, they would have found another conduit.for money to flow. They can't help themselves.
Anyway, we'll see how it plays out. I am very nervous/concerned about the next presidency. But, I am more optimistic about Trump than I would have been of Clinton.
Like you, if I had my way, Kasich would be the man. The one thing I noticed about Kasich is he had no heavy support from the establishment when he ran for office. That all went to Bush and Rubio.
