Thornwell's supporting cast may be a little better, but they were downright awful many times during the year. SC was something like 179th in scoring & 230th in FG%... numbers were something horrible like that.

SC lost, what... 6 of their last 10 games, something like that? Martin had them absolutely playing their best BB maybe ever this weekend. Props to him and that team.

But there's no doubt that if Thornwell had not been on that team this year, Notice & Dozier & Silva would have struggled to make the NIT. Thornwell as a POY & Sr leader meant everything to them.
