Miami has never had much of a non-conference schedule. Lot's of FAMU, Bethune-Cookman, Savannah St, Ark St, and so forth over the last dozen or more years. Miami's always been that way.

But even with that litany of pathetic non-cons, it had been a dozen years since they won more than the 9 games Richt won last year. They hadn't won a bowl game in 10 years. They had finished a season being ranked only once since 2005. They had had a top 10 recruiting class only once in about 10 or so years. If they were ready to run him out of town, hey - that's one spoiled and seriously delusional fan base. Honestly, except for 4 years 2000-03, they haven't been north of relevant since the Bush administration - the FIRST Bush. Someone needs to send a wire down there telling them it's not 1987 anymore.
