First, where do we stand:

Offense

OL: Losing 3 starters, great recruiting class
Cleveland redshirted
Expectations - better line play but we are replacing 3 starters with better talent but no SEC experience.

RB's - Loaded...losing no one of note

QB's - Eason returns, Fromm on deck
Dunno what to think about this one. One would think that Eason has the job to lose but he needs to show a better grasp of the offense and better accuracy and he has to hold up under pressure

WR's - A punt. We have some talent and we did gain some talent but we have no homerun players or at least none that have stepped up to the plate with authority.

TE's - Super deep, one of the better groups in the country

Kickers - Even with the turmoil, looks like we shored up kickoffs and added someone to push Rodrigo for long FG's. A strength.
Punting remains a question mark.

Special teams coverage - Dunno.

Defense

DL - Strength. Returning group is strong, added a few backups.

LB's - added depth but already deep

DB's and S - Shored up with a strong recruiting class. Our pass coverage should be considerably better by early mid-season.

Coaching - playcalling seems to be the wild card.

Can we win the east, going away as some are suggesting? I think so but it will depend on the offense. I think the defense will continue to improve, depending on what our new DL coach brings to the table.

Can we compete in the SEC championship game, assuming we win the east? Dunno.
